Laura Noble Elected to the Fellows of The American Bar Foundation

The American Bar Foundation certifies that Laura L. Noble has been elected to The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.

Chapel Hill, NC — The American Bar Foundation announced that Laura Noble, founder of the Noble Law Firm, has been elected to The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. The honor is selected in recognition of exemplary dedication to the profession, commitment to the work of the American Bar Foundation, and support for the ideals and objectives of the American Bar Association.

The ABF’s mission is to serve the legal profession, the public, and the academy through empirical research, publications, and programs that advance justice and the understanding of law and its impact on society. The Foundation is committed to broad dissemination of research findings to the organized bar, scholars, and the general public. The results are published in a wide range of forums, including leading academic journals, law reviews, and academic and commercial presses.

Integral support to the ABF is provided by The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. The Fellows support the research of the ABF through their annual contributions and sponsor programming of direct relevance to leaders of the legal profession.

Laura is joining a group of lawyers that have accomplished many things and are recognized for the contributions not only to the law, but to the community. The research she will be doing will enhance the lives of lawyers and the general public. Laura’s contribution to the Fellows will support the ABF’s groundbreaking empirical research on the role and impact of law, lawyers and the legal process on society.

President of the American Bar Association, William Hubbard, says, “Quite simply, without the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, we really wouldn’t have a Foundation of any strength and depth. They are the lifeblood of the organization in terms of making sure that the work of the Foundation is not restricted just to scholars, but is vastly utilized throughout the legal community and throughout the justice system.”
