Financial Executives Group Invites Laura Noble to Speak on The Top Ten Employment Laws Executives Need to Know

Laura Noble of The Noble Law Firm in Chapel Hill has been selected by The Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG) Raleigh, NC Chapter to speak to members on the Top Ten Employment Laws Executives Need to Know on October 9, 2013. The group selected Noble due to her niche practice focused exclusively on employment law.

The presentation will inform participants about the latest employment law developments, provide an introduction to a number of employment laws and explore new ideas on keeping the employee handbook current and tracking policy updates given to employees.

Noble moved to New York after graduating from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in political science and then attending the University of Maryland School of Law. She worked as a prosecutor in one of the largest and most challenging District Attorney’s office in the county. She also spent eleven months with a large civil litigation firm in Manhattan before becoming Deputy Director for Advocacy and legal services at Covenant House in New York. From winning the public service award while in law school, to today’s work as a pro bono attorney with the Pittsboro Office of Legal Services and as a member of the NCBA’s pro se task force, community service is a core value for Noble and her firm.

“I consider it to be both an honor and reward to engage with members of the FENG, said Laura Noble. “My firm executes on its commitment to improving access to legal services in North Carolina, and this opportunity to discuss and inform executives on the employment laws that relate to that of their work environment is an effective way to carry out our commitment.”
